A brass star may be purchased from the Helen Keller Hospital Foundation in honor of your new baby to be displayed inside the Women’s Center at Helen Keller Hospital.

Our highly-trained, compassionate nurses provide
personalized, family-like care for moms-to-be and new moms.

All our Labor & Delivery and OB/GYN nurses are certified NRP & ACLS, and all our nursery staff are NRP Certified.

All staff currently receive NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) training through a shadowing program at Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children and are also experienced in C-Section care.

The Women’s Center at Helen Keller Hospital is the only hospital in the Shoals with a direct relationship with a level 3 NICU.

Our nurses helped deliver approximately 800 babies each year for the past five years.

Our Labor & Delivery team has one of the lowest nurse-to-patient ratios in North Alabama.
